I’d never even seen a P230 before and, other than that they were well-made blowback .380s I didn’t know a whole lot about them. My youngest child (the other shooter in the family) said that it looked like "something a robot cop from the future would use in a movie made in the 1980s"…which was a pretty apt observation.

It all depends on the pistol. I own 2 of thema stainless with Hogue rubber 1 piece grips from '96 and a blued W. German one with Pau Ferro checkered grips from '92. I've never had issue with either absolutely LOVE my little.380 fräuleins. This Sig Sauer Model P230 is a right hand semi-automatic in.380 ACP Cal. It has a 3.5 inch barrel with a rear serrated slide. A blade front and notch rear sight. The grip is a checkered black polymer. The P230 is basically a clone of the Walther PPK with a slightly larger (and improved) wrap-around grip.
